The Niagara District Airport is a key aviation hub in the Niagara Region, offering services that cater to both business and tourism sectors. Situated near attractions like Niagara Falls, historic Niagara-on-the-Lake, local wineries, casinos, fine dining, and outstanding golf courses, the airport provides a unique blend of aviation and tourism experiences. Niagara Falls Air Tours offers spectacular 30 Minute Regional Air Tours, including Niagara Falls, with Commentary in twelve (12) languages.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a versatile and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Photographer and Client Services Coordinator. This role combines photography services with client interaction, ensuring a memorable experience for our guests. Responsibilities include capturing high-quality images, conducting passenger briefings for airplane tours, managing photo sales, scheduling client arrivals, and handling phone bookings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Photography Services:

  • Capture high-quality photographs of guests, events, and scenic views prior to each 30 minute Niagara Air Tour. All equipment provided.

  • Edit and process images to meet company standards and client expectations.

  • Computer skills and ability to learn digital photography marketing skills.

  • Maintain and manage photography equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition.

• Passenger Briefings for Airplane Tours:

  • Conduct comprehensive pre-flight briefings for passengers, covering safety procedures, seat belt operations, emergency protocols, and comfort amenities.

  • Address passenger questions and concerns to ensure a comfortable and informed flight experience.

• Photo Sales:

  • Promote and sell photographs to guests, highlighting the value of capturing their experiences.

  • All transactions are handled digitally. Assist clients to purchase souvenir photos.

• Scheduling Client Arrivals:

  • Coordinate and manage client arrival schedules for airplane tours and photography sessions.

  • Ensure timely communication with clients regarding their bookings and any schedule changes.

• Phone Bookings:

  • Handle incoming phone inquiries and bookings for airplane tours and photography sessions.

  • Provide accurate information about services, availability, pricing, and policies.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in photography is an asset.

• Interest in the art of photography is a must!

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational abilities, with attention to detail in scheduling and record-keeping.

• Experience in conducting safety briefings or public speaking is an asset.

• Sales experience, particularly in promoting and selling photography products, is an asset.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required during the summer season.

• This work is five (5) days per week, 35 hours per week.
